RNA-mediatedย epigeneticย regulation of gene expression

D Holoch, D Moazed – Nature Reviews Genetics, 2015

Diverse classes of RNA, ranging from small to long non-coding RNAs, have emerged as keyย
regulators of gene expression, genome stability and defence against foreign geneticย
elements. Small RNAs modify chromatin structure and silence transcription by guidingย …

Until January 7, 2015, research has typically been portrayed in the context of ridiculous theories. All attempts to focus on biologically-based facts failed in attempts to discuss them on the ISHE’s human ethology yahoo group. My final posts were met were followed by the moderator’s comments (as indicated below).
He has blocked all my posts since June 14, 2014, which was the first year anniversary date of my most recently published work Nutrient-dependent/pheromone-controlled adaptive evolution: a model. It was also the first year anniversary date of Masatoshi Nei’s textbook publication: Mutation-Driven Evolution.
Here are the two comments from me that were allowed by the moderator, Jay R. Feierman.
1) “No one has addressed any question about how mutations might result in de novo gene creation, and an anonymous participant put words into my mouth all the while Feierman’s editing of my posts has continued to muddy what should have become clear from my published works and references I have supplied with links in most cases.
This moderator note could not be more ridiculous in the context of Feierman’s other nonsense, which he clearly wants to continue in my absence. Thus, either I answer a question that obviously cannot be answered outside the context of my detailed model of how amino acid substitutions differentiate cell types, or my interactions in this thread are not worth posting.
The moderator is a dictator who will not let the participants learn anything new because he wants them to believe in a ridiculous theory.
[MODERATOR NOTE:ย I don’t believe that Jim Kohl has addressed the very specific question asked of him by anon, which isย whether he (Jim Kohl) believes that RNA splicing makes new genes.ย A simple agree or don’t agree is needed to make the interactions in this thread worth posting.
2) [human-ethology] Re: Population genetic structure of gray wolves (Canis lupus) in a marine archipelago suggests islan
Excerpt:ย Emerging evidence suggests that ecological heterogeneity across space can influence the genetic structure of populations, including that of long-distance dispersers such as large carnivores.
My comment:ย Indeed, the emerging evidence actually refutes all the neo-Darwinian nonsense of population genetics . . . etc., etc.
[MODERATOR NOTE: I’m not going to post more from Kohl until he answers the very direct and simple question posed to him by anon, which is whether he (Kohl) believes that RNA splicing can change DNA.]
Summary:
Anyone who thinks questions about RNA-mediated epigenetic regulation of gene expressionย  are simple should acquire a copy of the review, and try to explain Nutrient-dependent/pheromone-controlled adaptive evolution to the science idiots on the ISHE’s human ethology group.
