Neurotransmitter Switching Regulated by miRNAs Controls Changes in Social Preference

Reported as: Scents and social preference: Neuroscientists ID the roots of attraction

“MicroRNAs were ideal candidates for the job,” said Lippi, a project scientist in Berg’s laboratory in the Division’s Neurobiology Section. “They are post-transcriptional repressors and can target hundreds of different mRNAs to consolidate specific genetic programs and trigger developmental switches.”

Energy-dependent changes in the microRNA/messenger RNA balance link the physiology of pheromone-controlled reproduction to all healthy longevity in species from microbes to humans. The virus-driven degradation of messenger RNA links mutations to all pathology. Now, others are reporting that scents and social preferences are more important than mutations and natural selection. They pretend not to know that I published The Scent of Eros: Mysteries of Odor in Human Sexuality with co-author Dr. Robert T. Francoeur in 1995 with an update in 2002.

Summary:

Culminating a series of studies stretching back eight years, biologists have identified the cellular and molecular basis for social preference, known in the animal kingdom as ‘imprinting.’ Through in vivo experiments, the researchers found the neurological roots of kinship attraction and aversion. They also employed genetics screening to find the regulators controlling this behavior. The study carries implications for understanding social attraction and aversion in a range of animals and humans.

Conclusion:

“As human beings we are complicated and we have multiple mechanisms to achieve social bonding, but it seems likely that this mechanism for switching social preference in response to olfactory stimuli contributes to some extent.”

This classically delivered understatement of everything known to serious scientist about the experimental evidence that established the facts presented in Feedback loops link odor and pheromone signaling with reproduction. Twelve years later more facts were presented in Olfaction Warps Visual Time Perception.
The concluding paragraph attests to this fact: The sense of smell in bacteria links multisensory input at subsecond scales to  energy-dependent changes in the physiology of pheromone-controlled reproduction.
The pheromone-controlled physiology of reproduction was linked to our visual perception of mass and energy in the context of the space-time continuum. Everything known to serious scientists about food odors and pheromones has repeatedly refuted every aspect of neo-Darwinian pseudoscientific nonsense.

New data on how genetic predispositions are epigenetically linked to phenotypically distinct neuroanatomy and behaviors is provided in the honeybee model. Across-species comparisons from insects to vertebrates clearly show that the epigenetic influence of food odors and pheromones continues throughout the life of organisms that collectively survive whereas individuals do not. These comparisons also attest to the relative salience of sensory input from the rearing environment. For example, when viewed from the consistency of animal models and conditioned behaviors, food odors are obviously more important to food selection than is our visual perception of food. Animal models affirm that food odor makes food either appealing or unappealing. Animal models reaffirm that it is the pheromones of other animals that makes them either appealing or unappealing.

In his response to my comment on Understanding and accounting for relational context is critical for social neuroscience,
George FR Ellis wrote:

This is absolutely correct and forms part of the larger concept that top-down causation is a key factor not just in the way the brain works but in broader contexts in biology and even physics. This is explored here: Top-down causation Organized by George F. R. Ellis, Denis Noble and Timothy O’Connor 25 Apr 2014 at 07:49am

The fact that food odors and pheromones have since linked energy-dependent changes in microRNAs from the Common origins of RNA, protein and lipid precursors in a cyanosulfidic protometabolism links top-down causation from the creation of sunlight to all biophysically constrained biologically based cause and effect via everything known to serious scientists about the links from quantum physics to chemistry, to molecular epigenetics, and to all morphological and behavioral diversity in species from microbes to humans.

“I should think we might fairly gauge the future of biological science, centuries ahead by estimating the time it will take to reach a complete comprehensive understanding of odor. It may not seem a profound enough problem to dominate all the life sciences, but it contains, piece by piece, all the mysteries” (p. 732).

“…tiny spinning molecules are driven by light, and spin so quickly that they can burrow through cell linings when activated.
The light activated link to an endogenous substrate that biophysically constrains energy-dependent protein folding chemistry would be obvious to anyone who was not taught to believe that mutated DNA could be linked from natural selection to the evolution of all biodiversity. The fact that ultraviolet light was used in this example of how chirality must be linked from autophagy to healthy longevity attests to the human idiocy mentioned by Richard P. Feynman. No matter how it is measured, the energy from sunlight is the only source of energy that has ever been linked to all biodiversity via the physiology of pheromone-controlled reproduction.

This appears to come from Rice University and can probably be linked to “Combating Evolution to Fight Disease” https://comments.sciencemag.org/…/10.1126/science.1247472. For example, see the works of Wen Zhou who studied under Denise Chen at Rice University before returning to China and subsequently publishing: Olfaction Warps Visual Time Perception https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28334302
Zhou’s efforts clearly refute all neo-Darwinian pseudoscientific nonsense about evolution by linking the sense of smell in bacteria to our visual perception of mass and energy in the context of the physiology of pheromone-controlled reproduction across the time space-continuum and all species. The anti-entropic virucidal energy of sunlight is the key to integration of all works from quantum physics to quantum souls via Darwin’s “conditions of life.” Natural selection for energy-dependent codon optimality prevents the virus-driven degradation of messenger RNA that links energy-dependent changes in the microRNA/messenger RNA balance to chemical imbalances and all pathology.

…since miRNAs are transmitted between species of different kingdoms and can contribute to the phenotype regulation, this new model of horizontal miRNA transfer may open up a new avenue to further study the molecular mechanisms underlying cross-kingdom interaction and co-evolution.

This is an epigenetic mechanism by which an organism’s gene expression is regulated by external dietary microRNAs. Plant miRNAs also act as enhancers during a process called alternative splicing. That makes it possible for a cell to produce thousands of different protein isoforms by using only one DNA strand or a combination of several DNA strands as an information library.

All people and other living things are different due to the food energy-dependent fixation of RNA-mediated amino acid substitutions in organized genomes. Supercoiled DNA in organized genomes links microRNAs to energy-dependent cell type differentiation in species from microbes to humans via their physiology of reproduction and the transgenerational epigenetic inheritance of all morphological and behavioral phenotypes.

However, Tomi Aalto is no different than any other plagiarist. See for example: Nutrient-dependent/pheromone-controlled adaptive evolution: a model

The honeybee model organism exemplifies what has been learned from the study of invertebrates (De Loof, Lindemans, Liu, De Groef, & Schoofs, 2012). This includes what has been learned about the epigenetic effects of nutrients and pheromones on juvenile hormone (JH). However, the molecular biology of cause and effect that is common to all species was left behind, and the epigenetic effects of human pheromones have not typically been considered in the same context as epigenetic effects of food odors and insect pheromones or the epigenetic effects of pheromones on other mammals.
The epigenetic effects of nutrients and pheromones extend across the life history of organisms, but from 1996 to 2012 the concept of molecular epigenetics and epigenetic effects on hormone-driven adaptive evolution of the human brain and behavior seems to have gone missing.

Thank God, Tomi Aalto also serves as an ongoing example of how even a biologically uninformed science idiot can begin to grasp the experimentally established facts about RNA-mediated cell type differentiation that I have included in my history of published works. Each time a plagiarist like Tomi Aalto sees information that he can present as if it supported his claims, he steals it and presents it outside the context of the fully detailed model that my colleagues and I have developed in our published works and presentations during the past two decades. His behavior has always been despicable, but Tomi Aalto is no worse than anyone else who steals the intellectual property of others. He is, simply put, a thief who claims that accurate representations of energy as information are not protected by any copyright.

For comparison, see any of the misrepresentations of information that fails to link energy as information to biophysically constrained viral latency. Typically, the facts about energy as information are still placed into the context co-evolution. No experimental evidence of biologically-based cause and effect suggests that anything except natural selection for energy-dependent codon optimality can be linked from ecological variation to ecological adaptations in any species. At the level of individual- and species-specific food choice, natural selection for food energy-dependent codon optimality links food odors and pheromones from the physiology of reproduction to chromosomal inheritance of species-specific healthy longevity.

The virus-driven degradation of messenger RNA links mutations to all pathology. What possible link to co-evolution among species remains to be discovered so that biologically uninformed theorists can continue to tout the pseudoscientific nonsense about evolutionary processes? No experimental evidence of biologically-based cause and effect suggests that any species has ever evolved from any other species.

And yet, Mutation-Driven Evolution was published on the same day I published my refutation of that neo-Darwinian nonsense as: Nutrient-dependent/pheromone-controlled adaptive evolution: a model
