God said Let There Be Light (not go ahead, make my day)

Effects of the removal or reduction in density of the malaria mosquito, Anopheles gambiae s.l., on interacting predators and competitors in local ecosystems

Animals that eat An. gambiae also eat other species of mosquito and other insects, which these ecologists think means that other species do not need A. gambiae to survive.

Reported as: Removing Malaria-Carrying Mosquitoes Unlikely to Affect Ecosystems, Says Report

If a species is removed from an ecosystem, it can mean that a competitor species—one that uses a similar food resource, for example—grows much larger in numbers to fill the space.

This can become a problem if the competitor species carries its own dangers, such as if it carries a different human disease like yellow fever.

The team found that other species of mosquito are most likely to compensate for fewer An. gambiae, although lab studies and field studies, as well as evidence from past eliminations of mosquitoes for example by insecticide spraying, do not always agree.

To validate and improve their findings, the Target Malaria project is launching a four-year study led by the University of Ghana and the University of Oxford that will study An. gambiae in the local environment in Ghana.

Their plea for more funding to study the local effect in Ghana ignores past studies of biophysically constrained viral latency that agree in their entirety. When a species is “removed,” the biophysical constraints on the hecatombic evolution of pathology also are removed.

We show here for the first time the crucial role of viruses in controlling archaeal dynamics and therefore the functioning of deep-sea ecosystems, and suggest that virus-archaea interactions play a central role in global biogeochemical cycles.

See for comparison: Viruses [in the gut bacteria of all species] cooperate to defeat bacteria
The effect of eliminating one species is virtually guaranteed to impact all ecosystems at the level of light-induced microRNA biogenesis that biophysically constrains viral latency in all living genera.
It’s as if God is telling all pseudoscientists: “Go ahead, make my day!”
If you help to fund their pseudoscientific nonsense, that’s what they may do. They may make a different type of day that leads to the fall of darkness on humanity.

and Past 5,000 years prolific for changes to human genome

The findings confirm their earlier work suggesting that the majority of variants, including potentially harmful ones, were picked up during the past 5,000–10,000 years.

Those findings suggest that God’s dictate about what not to eat has had epigenetic effects of epic proportions, as did the flood of Biblical proportions, which also was revealed in Biblical Genesis.
