Our study confirms the view that continued gene regulatory construction was a key to animal evolution.

Their view appears to be based on claims that genes automagically create themselves. For comparison, all serious scientists know that the creation of sunlight, the creation of ATP and the creation of the microRNA repertoire regulate the creation of genes. Nothing suggests that the microRNA repertoire evolved. All experimental evidence of top-down quantized energy as information-dependent links the anti-entropic virucidal energy of sunlight to light-activated microRNA biogenesis and the physiology of pheromone-controlled reproduction in microbes and animals via what is known about light-activated microRNA biogenesis in plants.
