Chemogenetic kinetics (5): Abiogenesis vs Obesity (1)
Lipid Encapsulation of Self Replicating Ribozymes (2012) — a thesis written by Nurse Andrew Jones (Carthage College)
Despite their challenges, ribozymes have made an interesting niche for themselves in the field of abiogenesis. The evolution of a successful RNA polymerase ribozyme is a lofty goal. While its discovery would not be the be-all and end-all of abiogenesis research, it would represent an important stepping stone between prebiotic chemistry and life. The encapsulation of such a ribozyme is also an important step, as it would enable a system of heredity and evolution through natural selection. Based on progress in current research, it is only a matter of time before that ribozyme is discovered.
I have questions:
How did ribozymes create a niche for themselves?
What is encompassed by the so-called field of abiogenesis?
Is energy required to step across the so-called stepping stone from prebiotic chemistry to life or death?
What system of heredity and evolution starts with abiogenesis linked to natural selection?
What is naturally selected?
Has scientific progress in any discipline led to any experimental evidence that supports a forthcoming discovery of a self-replicating ribozyme?
See for comparison: Dependence of RNA synthesis in isolated thymus nuclei on glycolysis, oxidative carbohydrate catabolism and a type of “oxidative phosphorylation” (1964)
The synthesis of RNA in isolated thymus nuclei is ATP dependent.
Naturally occurring light-activated carbon fixation in cyanobacteria links the Creation of ATP from microRNA biogenesis in plants to the Creation of RNA, which biophysically constrains viral latency. Viral latency has been linked to the biogenesis of all diversity on Earth.
Alternatively, the virus-driven degradation of messenger RNA is linked to the creation of obesogenic genes and all pathology. The virus-driven creation of obesogenic genes links measurements of light-activated carbon fixation from nuclear bomb test-derived 14C in adipose tissue triglycerides to failed ecological adaptations manifested in obesity.
See: Adipose lipid turnover and long-term changes in body weight 9/9/19
We determined the turnover of fat cell lipids in adults followed for up to 16 years, by measuring the incorporation of nuclear bomb test-derived 14C in adipose tissue triglycerides. Lipid removal rate decreases during aging, with a failure to reciprocally adjust the rate of lipid uptake resulting in weight gain. Substantial weight loss is not driven by changes in lipid removal but by the rate of lipid uptake in adipose tissue. Furthermore, individuals with a low baseline lipid removal rate are more likely to remain weight-stable after weight loss. Therefore, lipid turnover adaptation might be important for maintaining pronounced weight loss.

In the coming generation of Americans, nearly 60% of adults are expected to acquire obesity by the age of 35 years, and approximately half of those will have developed obesity in childhood.
That fact was placed into the context of the patent for naturally occurring RNA interference.

5. Repetitive elements or endogenous viral elements can be targeted with engineered Cas+gRNA systems in microbes, plants, animals, or human cells to reduce deleterious transposition or to aid in sequencing or other analytic genomic/transcriptomic/proteomic/diagnostic tools (in which nearly identical copies can be problematic).
The food energy-dependent creation of problematic nearly identical copies has been linked from eating too much food to uncontrolled catalysis. The light-activated assembly of the microRNA-RNA-peptide nanocomplex typically controls catalysis in the context of autophagy regulation and disease prevention.
See: MicroRNAs play an essential role in autophagy regulation in various disease phenotypes 8/16/19
Autophagy is a highly conserved catabolic process and fundamental biological process in eukaryotic cells. It recycles intracellular components to provide nutrients during starvation and maintains quality control of organelles and proteins. In addition, autophagy is a well-organized homeostatic cellular process that is responsible for the removal of damaged organelles and intracellular pathogens.

…olfactory/pheromonal input links food odors and social odors from the epigenetic landscape to the physical landscape of supercoiled DNA in the organized genomes of species from microbes to man during their development.
Taken together, everything known about autophagy links that light-activated assembly of the microRNA-RNA-peptide nanocomplex (aka the polycomb repressive complex) from the Creation of enzymes to the metabolism of carbon, which sustains all life on Earth via the physiology of reproduction.
The fact that food energy and the microbial metabolism of food to pheromones controls the physiology of reproduction in species from microbes to humans is typically ignored.
However, on 9/9/19 Michael Joyner wrote: Gee – I thought it was primarily an energy balance issue
I responded:
-
- It is! The virus-driven degradation of mRNA links detection of gene-environment interactions to the creation of obesogenic genes in young children. The patent for naturally occurring RNA interference links proper amounts of food energy to prevention.
- Who is willing to put Polygenic Risk Scores That Predict Common Diseases Using Millions of Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms into the context of this mathematical model of #chemogenetic #kinetics? MicroRNA based feedforward control of intrinsic gene expression noise 8/30/19

Your claims about revolutions in epitranscriptomic research were obviously beyond the scope of your knowledge because the light-activated assembly of the microRNA-RNA-peptide #nanocomplex has already been linked to the cure for all pathology: RNA interference.
RNA interference is the only obvious link to prevention of uncontrolled DNA unstacking (aka ‘negative entropy’ or negative supercoiling of DNA) in Hydrophobic catalysis and a potential biological role of DNA unstacking induced by environment effects 8/14/19

Indeed, in the case of higher animals we know the kind of orderliness they feed upon well enough, viz. the extremely well-ordered state of matter in more or less complicated organic compounds, which serve them as foodstuffs. After utilizing it they return it in a very much degraded form -not entirely degraded, however, for plants can still make use of it. (These, of course, have their most power supply of ‘negative entropy’ the sunlight.) (pp. 73 and 74)
