UV light, H2O, and epigenetic effects… (1) 9/25/20
During the 9/26/20 “Benghazi and Twin Towers Memorial Ride and Veterans Event” at Band of Brothers Veterans Park in Murphy, North Carolina, DW (Del) Wilber ( guest speaker and “Counterterrorism Analyst”) reminded me that in 2006, Greg Bear’s Quantico was near future, hard counterterrorism science fiction.
Historical perspective:Greg Bear is the author of more than thirty books, spanning thrillers, science fiction, and fantasy, including Blood Music, Eon, The Forge of God, Darwin’s Radio…. His books have won numerous international prizes, have been translated into more than twenty-two languages, and have sold millions of copies worldwide. Over the last twenty-eight years, he has also served as a consultant for NASA, the U.S. Army, the State Department, the International Food Protection Association, and Homeland Security on matters ranging from privatizing space to food safety, the frontiers of microbiology and genetics, and biological security.
With the Covid-19 panic, “Quantico” made it from “…the frontiers of microbiology and genetics, and biological security,” and from military science fiction, to science fact about how a genetically engineered virus was used to target a specific human population.
Think the “Chinese virus” also known as Covid-19 and ask “What went wrong?”

For example, why does our President correctly believe that God’s Creation of UV light and water are linked to the two amino acid substitutions that ended the 1918 Spanish influenza.
