The cell’s machinery ‘reads’ DNA sequences in sets of three nucleotide bases, called codons. Transcription begins at a codon that has an DNA sequence of ATG, which is where the cell’s RNA polymerase enzyme starts making the messenger RNA (mRNA) for a protein, and may be upstream of the actual protein sequence; this mRNA is usually processed by the cell before being translated into a protein. If biologically uninformed theorists could understand the terms used by these researchers (from Iran and from China) they would link what soil microbes eat to Olfaction Warps Visual Time Perception 3/17/17 via pheromone-regulated genetic processes that biophysically constrain viral latency across kingdoms and via former President Trump’s claim on 4/23/20 that sunlight and humidity weaken Covid19.
