Orchestrated death: J. Michael Bailey
Epigenetic manipulation of the human VNTR was sufficient to switch off ZNF558 expression and thereby increase SPATA18 expression. Our data reveal the co-option of a TE-controlling KZFP to regulate a protein-coding gene and how this regulatory network is controlled between species and human individuals by a cis-acting structural variation.
Presumably, the molecular mechanisms are the same in people with gender dysphoria.

“Our results indicate that what has been significant for the brain’s development is instead perhaps hidden in the overlooked 98%, which appears to be important. This is a surprising finding.”
The authors believe that in the future their new results may also contribute to genetically-based answers to questions about psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia.
This has not been a surprising finding for more than 25 years. Olfaction and pheromones were linked to gender dysphoria and schizophrenia since before I co-authored this book. See: The Scent of Eros: Mysteries of Odor in Human Sexuality (1995)
Scientists have long known that odors and subliminal scents – sex attractants or pheromones – influence how animals develop, mate, bond, and nurture their offspring. Recently, scientists have discovered that human animals are no exception. Odors, explain the authors, can accelerate puberty, control women’s menstrual cycles, and even influence sexual orientation. They help us tell lovers and family members from strangers and let mothers and infants bond. Odors affect how often we have sex, and with whom. They influence how the brain develops, what we remember, and how we learn. Odors are the spice of life.
Grounded in solid scientific research, yet maintaining an easy-to-read style, The Scent of Eros is an engrossing read on a whole new world under our noses!
The target audience for The Scent of Eros was intelligent non-scientists who were interested in understanding biologically-based cause and effect. Our claims about the effects of food odors and pheromones on hormones, cell type differentiation, and the affects of hormones on behavior, including behaviors linked to gender dysphoria, have since been linked to biophysically constrained viral latency and healthy longevity via: Intracellular metabolic reprogramming mediated by micro-RNAs in differentiating and proliferating cells under non-diseased conditions 10/13/21
…the work systematically summarizes and elaborates regulation of genetic switches by microRNAs…
MicroRNA-mediated regulation of genetic switches has been detailed in the context of NIH grant funded research. For example see: “NIH Grant” microRNA, and nih microRNA See also: microRNA
None of these indexed published works can be linked to the pseudoscientific nonsense touted by J. Michael Bailey in The Man Who Would Be Queen: The Science of Gender-Bending and Transsexualism (2003) or to the pseudoscientific nonsense in discussions about “gender” differences / gender dysphoria on his “SexNet” listserver.
J. Michael Bailey is Associate Professor of Psychology at Northwestern University and an internationally recognized researcher and expert on the origins of human sexual orientation. His studies of sexual orientation in twins have been widely cited in the scientific literature and are mentioned in virtually all introductory psychology textbooks. His work has also been featured in a variety of newspapers, including The New York Times, as well as in Newsweek and Discover. He is also widely known to those interested in sex research as the creator and owner of the listserv SEXNET.
Intelligent serious scientists who know why Francis S. Collins resigned his position as NIH director also know that his failure to make scientific progress via gene-centric theories can be linked to J. Michael Bailey’s failure to learn about the microRNA-mediated links from God’s Creation of sunlight and humidity to biophysically constrained viral latency in the context of fixation of amino acid substitutions in the cell types of species from cyanobacteria to humans, including gender dysphoric humans.
Intelligent people need only realize that control of primate brain development is food energy-dependent and microRNA-mediated via fixation of amino acid substitutions that differentiate all cell types in all living genera in the context of biophysically constrained pH-dependent genetic processes of reproduction and Biblical Genesis.
Simply put, God’s Creation of stem cells and different species is microRNA mediated.
That fact means sexual orientation is also microRNA-mediated.

Food odors and pheromones link the physiology of reproduction to biophysically constrained viral latency and the prevention of all diseases via RNA interference (RNAi). Did all sex educators miss that fact? Is that why they won’t discuss other facts with intelligent serious scientists?

See 5 citations to publications on neurosteroids in From Fertilization to Adult Sexual Behavior (1996). Effects of odors on neurosteroids links God’s Creation of the sense of smell in bacteria to this fact about affects of hormones on innate immunity and ecological adaptations. Sense of smell is our most rapid warning system 10/14/21
For a historical perspective that refutes all gene-centric theories and all opinions about sexual differentiation, sexual orientation, and gender dysphoria see: Feedback loops link odor and pheromone signaling with reproduction (2005) and our section on molecular epigenetics in From fertilization to adult sexual behavior (1996)
A question arose about the lack of public support for sex education on Bill Taverner’s Facebook group: Sex Ed. I tried to discus the facts from our section on molecular epigenetics. I told members of the group that no intelligent person on Earth believes the stupid theories touted by sex educators, and that COVID19 forced all intelligent people to focus on facts about biophysically constrained viral latency, which prevent gender dysphoria.
So far, no one has responded.
