After posting this comment to “The Conversation,” I learned I was blocked from posting anything to Facebook.
The misleading evidence that fooled some scientists for decades has never fooled serious scientists. Some have linked the creation of sunlight from the creation of microRNAs via links from photoluminescence to healthy longevity. Simply put, serious scientists know that all life on Earth requires a source of anti-entropic energy (i.e., sunlight). See for example: Schrödinger (1944) What is Life?
Indeed, in the case of higher animals we know the kind of orderliness they feed upon well enough, viz. the extremely well-ordered state of matter in more or less complicated organic compounds, which serve them as foodstuffs. After utilizing it they return it in a very much degraded form -not entirely degraded, however, for plants can still make use of it. (These, of course, have their most power supply of ‘negative entropy’ the sunlight.)

The method involves irradiating a sample with monochromatic light. This irradiation causes the molecules in the sample to vibrate, producing shifts in energy of the scattered photons.
