Quantum physics, quantum biology, and quantum consciousness

Has anyone but me attempted to link light-induced amino acid substitutions from quantum physics to quantum biology in the context of the following works? All five published articles appear to be linked to quantum consciousness by the chemistry of nutrient-dependent pheromone-controlled feedback loops and chromatin loops that lead to increasing organismal complexity. The feedback loops Quantum physics, quantum biology, and quantum consciousness

Physicists: Desperate Acts

Participation on the FB group Thinking Allowed Original led to an invite by Ulla Mattfolk to participate on her secret group  Quantum Biology, coherence and decoherence. On January 22 at 11:45pm, discussion led me to ask whether biophotonic energy differences could be recognized by the photons at the quantum level of their interactions/energies. I thought the answer might explain biodiversity via a Physicists: Desperate Acts

Jumping back: Science or Pseudoscience?

Daily Comment November 21, 2014 European Science’s Great Leap Backward By Michael Specter Excerpt 1) “When politicians reject verifiable data and reputable research and rely instead on politics or desire, the results can be devastating.” Excerpt 2 with my emphasis) “…scientific organizations from around the world… have strongly endorsed the safety of G.M. foods. RNA-mediated species specificity

Species-Specific Scientists uncover striking differences between mouse and human gene expression across a variety of tissues. By Jyoti Madhusoodanan | November 17, 2014 Excerpt: “…results published today (November 17) in PNAS reveal widespread differences between human and mouse gene expression, both in protein-coding and noncoding genes, suggesting that understanding these disparities could help explain fundamental RNA-mediated species specificity

Complex behaviors of cell types in cancer

Decoding the emergence of metastatic cancer stem cells Excerpt: “By applying a physics-based approach to understand the dynamics of cancer decision-making, we were able to explain a number of recent experimental observations, including some that seemed contradictory.” My comment: The logic of the physics-based approach links physics, chemistry, biology, and math, etc. to conserved molecular Complex behaviors of cell types in cancer

A model of MHC 'evolution'

Sexual selection and the evolutionary dynamics of the major histocompatibility complex Excerpt: “Here, we present the results of the first model of MHC evolution incorporating both survival and reproduction, modelling the combined effects of natural selection and MHC-based disassortative mating on patterns of MHC allelic diversity.” My comment: Results from their first mathematical model can A model of MHC 'evolution'
