Vaccines do not control pandemics (1)

Compared to the G2 RotaTeq vaccine strain, 17-24 amino acid changes, specifically A87T, D96N, S213D, and S242N substitutions in G2 epitopes, were observed.

Amino acid changes control pandemics.

The Ebola vaccine (rVSVDG-ZEBOV-GP) is being used as part of the overall strategy to control the Ebola outbreak.

There was no indication that the vaccine strategy helped to control the Ebola virus outbreak.

This West African variant likely diverged from central African lineages around 2004, crossed from Guinea to Sierra Leone in May 2014, and has exhibited sustained human-to-human transmission subsequently, with no evidence of additional zoonotic sources.

Direct contact with the bodies of those who died from EVD proved to be one of the most dangerous – and effective – methods of transmission. Changes in behaviors related to mourning and burial, along with the adoption of safe burial practices, were critical in controlling that epidemic.8

Constraint-breaking mutations have been linked from nutritional stress and social stress to the virus-driven degradation of messenger RNA and to all pathology in species from microbes to humans.

Senior author Pardis Sabeti has since co-authored Nucleic acid detection with CRISPR-Cas13a/C2c2

The RNA-guided, RNA-targeting clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR) effector Cas13a (previously known as C2c2) exhibits a “collateral effect” of promiscuous ribonuclease activity upon target recognition. We combine the collateral effect of Cas13a with isothermal amplification to establish a CRISPR-based diagnostic (CRISPR-Dx), providing rapid DNA or RNA detection with attomolar sensitivity and single-base mismatch specificity.

The ability to detect food energy-dependent single-base mismatch differences links a range of health-related single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) from God’s Creation of UV light and water to fixation of amino acid substitutions and to differences in patient outcomes.
For instance, in 2013, Sabeti’s group reported that the EDAR V370A substitution linked the physiology of food energy-dependent pheromone-controlled reproduction in the mouse-to-human model of ecological adaptation to the stability of organized genomes in a population of humans in what is now Central China.

At a time when anyone age 10+ can learn how food energy-dependent viral latency is biophysically constrained, by playing the cell biology game “Cytosis,” Sabeti and others continue to place their claims about the evolution of viruses into the context of neo-Darwinian theories in which the evolution of some mutations in gene regulatory regions is beneficial.
Detection of specific virus-driven changes in the single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of viruses is now possible and Sabeti knows it.

…we report the rapid (<1 week) design and testing of instrument-free assays to detect clinically relevant viral single-nucleotide polymorphisms.

The difference in the single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of viruses can be linked from what organisms eat to the physiology of pheromone-controlled reproduction in the context of what is known about how the creation of food energy-dependent microRNAs biophysically constrains viral latency, which is how all pathology is controlled in the context of RNA-mediated DNA repair.

Trying to define the end of the epidemic “will be a long and difficult process.”

See for comparison: A two-amino acid change in the hemagglutinin of the 1918 influenza virus abolishes transmission. (2007)
No definition of the end was required. The food energy-dependent pheromone-controlled two-amino acid change in the virus ended the 1918 pandemic
