My series of blog posts on the biological-basis of “The Tipping Point” started when there were 87K indexed published articles that linked light-activated miRNA biogenesis to The tipping point (revisited): 87K (2) 5/28/19, and a series that extended this claim “ Koel et al. (p. 976) show that major antigenic change can be caused by single amino acid substitutions” to The tipping point (revisited): 135K 2/5/22. This claim extends experimentally established facts to cell type differentiation during every pH-dependent life cycle of every organism on Earth:

Rather than accept the facts that link the virus-driven degradation of mRNA from pH-dependent changes in base pairs and changes in the miRNA-mRNA balance to fixation of amino acids, or to the virus-driven degradation of mRNA and all pathology, Jon Entine likes the idea of quantifying the effect of eQTLs on gene expression in different age groups. He links aging to gene expression without consideration for the ATP-dependent Creation of nucleic acids.
