A two-faced protein enables RNA-mediated DNA repair (5)

The title of the article below about “gut bugs” attests to the fact that the popularity of neo-Darwinism is based on the lack of popularity for any alternative. For example, Schrodinger (1944) claimed:

…in the case of higher animals we know the kind of orderliness they feed upon well enough, viz. the extremely well-ordered state of matter in more or less complicated organic compounds, which serve them as foodstuffs. After utilizing it they return it in a very much degraded form -not entirely degraded, however, for plants can still make use of it. (These, of course, have their most power supply of ‘negative entropy’ the sunlight)

A recent review integrated Schrodinger’s claim about the not entirely degraded energy that helps to fuel plant growth in the context of the sun’s biological energy, which is linked to transgenerational epigenetic inheritance in cattle and all other living genera via epigenetically-effected metabolic networks and genetic networks.

My comment: I’ve cited this work before and placed it into the context of links from microbes in the light organ of bobtail squid to the organization of genomes in all invertebrates on the land and in the seas. The epigenetic effect of an ingested terrestrial plant also can be linked from the energy of the sun that supports plant growth to the gut microbes of bulls and thermodynamic cycles of protein biosynthesis and degradation manifested in the diversity of sperm microRNA expression and transgenerational epigenetic effects on the organized genomes of the bull’s offspring. Thus, insect poop can be linked to bull poop and the pseudoscientific nonsense touted by neo-Darwinian evolutionary theorists.

My comment: That fact may help others to acknowledge facts about the nutrient-dependent pheromone-controlled physiology of reproduction in species from microbes to man.
For example, gut microbes link atoms to ecosystems via what is currently known about thermodynamic cycles of nutrient-dependent protein biosynthesis and degradation that link the epigenetic landscape to the physical landscape of supercoiled DNA via microRNAs and cell adhesion proteins.
Indeed, more than 45,000 citations to works that link the microRNA/messenger RNA balance to RNA-directed DNA methylation and cell type differntiation can be found via a PubMed search for microRNA.
One recent open access review links the emergence of microRNAs to the evolution of increasing organismal complexity via gene regulation that contributes to the diversity of organisms.

My comment: What has been learned from mice links what has been learned about cell type differentiation in all living genera. It can readily be linked from the sequencing of the octopus genome across all invertebrates to all vertebrates via what is known to serious scientists about physics, protein-folding chemistry, and the conserved molecular mechanisms of cell type differentiation that link atoms to ecosystems. For comparison, theorists seem to be focusing on issues that try to link insect poop to bull poop outside the context of metabolic networks and genetic networks.
It may be best for serious scientists to start with nutrient energy-dependent base pair changes and RNA-mediated amino acid substitutions to avoid the traps set by evolutionary theorists. Those traps have forced others to report their findings in the terms used by pseudoscientists to link mutation-driven evolution to all biomass. Obviously, if students are not taught the difference between a mutation and an amino acid substitution, they are more likely to report the results of their experiments in the context of ridiculous theories.
See for comparison: All About that Base (Meghan Trainor Parody) The brief parody can be viewed in the context of Schrodinger’s claims in “What is Life?” For example, sunlight seems most likely to be the source of anti-entropic energy, which appears to prevent virus-driven entropy in the organized genomes of all living genera.
I agree that

“… in the next year or so we’re going to see lots of examples of this type of thing occurring in nature, from insects all the way up, possibly, to humans”…

Indeed, that fact was predicted in our 1996 review of what was then known about molecular epigenetics. Nothing that was known has changed.

When the bacteria are not fed the amino acids, they cannot produce these essential proteins, and so they die.

My comment: Except when life finds a way to re-evolve the bacterial flagellum over-the-weekend, which links atoms to ecosystems in the context of two amino acid substitutions.
Whoops, the amino acid substitutions were reported as if they were mutations.
Get it? They might be able to prevent the mutations, but the nutrient-dependent RNA-mediated amino acid substitutions that differentiate the cell types of all living genera seem to take on a life of their own.
See for example: Evolutionary Rewiring
Let’s compare what can happen with two kill switches compared to what happens via two amino acid substitutions, shall we?

Of course not,” said the evil twin. “There’s no money to be made by comparing RNA-mediated events to gene-centric theories about cell type differentiation.

Besides, evolutionary theorists have always claimed that I have competing commercial interests.
