Now that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been elected to represent New York’s 14th Congressional District, her 2007 presentation on nematodes will wreak havoc among Democrats and liberals who failed to learn that all organisms must eat or species do not survive via the physiology of pheromone-controlled reproduction.
C. elegans becomes a predatory nematode with teeth via biophysically constrained sympatric speciation, not mutation-driven evolution.  Indeed, there is no such thing as mutation-driven evolution. Now Democrats can learn that from another Democrat.
See: Intel ISEF Alumna Headed to Capitol Hill
She won 2nd place in the 2007 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair for a poster about C. elegans. She won for choosing the best model organism. Among theorists, that fact makes Cori Bargmann and Leslie Vosshall the biggest losers for failing to link the molecular mechanisms of cell type differentiation in nematodes to biophysically constrained viral latency in mosquitoes and all other organisms on Earth.

Funny enough, one of the compounds I tested yielded unusually promising results for cellular health + C. elegan lifespan extension. When I tried to find out why the compound wasn’t pursued more, one of the explanations given to me was that pharma lobbyists worked against it.

That’s not funny anymore. The facts predict the severity of the next viral pandemic, and all serious scientists know it. Pharma lobbyists have actively prevented scientific progress via focus on ineffective treatments and vaccines.

Emergence of Human G2P[4] Rotaviruses in the Post-vaccination Era in South Korea: Footprints of Multiple Interspecies Re-assortment Events (2018)

Compared to the G2 RotaTeq vaccine strain, 17-24 amino acid changes, specifically A87T, D96N, S213D, and S242N substitutions in G2 epitopes, were observed. These results suggest that multiple interspecies re-assortment events might have contributed to the emergence of G2P[4] rotaviruses in the post-vaccination era in South Korea.

Environmental selection during the last ice age on the mother-to-infant transmission of vitamin D and fatty acids through breast milk

Environmental selection during the last ice age on the mother-to-infant transmission of vitamin D and fatty acids through breast milk The frequency of the human-specific EDAR V370A allele appears to be uniquely elevated in North and East Asian and New World populations due to a bout of positive selection…

I linked natural selection for food energy-dependent pheromone-controlled viral latency to the EDAR V370A allele in Nutrient-dependent Pheromone-Controlled Ecological Adaptations: From Angstroms to Ecosystems
See the last two cited works for examples of other losers:

160. Grossman SR, Andersen KG, Shlyakhter I, Tabrizi S, Winnicki S, et al. (2013) Identifying recent adaptations in large-scale genomic data. Cell 152: 703-713.
The difference between recent human evolution and recent adaptations is clear. Adaptations are food energy-dependent because food biophysically constrains viral latency in the context of the physiology of reproduction in all living genera.
